Under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister, West Bengal, The Higher Education Department, the Government of West Bengal has introduced the Student Credit Card Scheme for the students of West Bengal to enable them to pursue education without having any financial constraints.

Who Can Avail The Scheme?

Student Credit CardHighlights Of The Scheme

  • Any student from class 10th to PhD.
  • Loan up to ₹ 10,00,000
  • Age limit up to 40 years to avail the loan.
  • Moratorium period: 1 year
  • Repayment up to 15 years
  • Can be availed for any type of course (Graduation, Masters, Vocational, Diploma, Research).
  • Can be availed for pursuing education abroad.
  • No guarantor or security required to avail  this loan.
